In support of antiracist education at DMPS

I made this statement at the Des Moines Public Schools' school board meeting on July 6, 2021. My name is Kate Lechtenberg, and I am a parent of two DMPS students and I just finished my first year as a staff member. Today, I want to speak in support of continuing and deeping the urgent work of antiracist education for both students and teachers in Des Moines Public Schools.
